PROSECUTORS

1) Administrative model of justice - model that concentrates on major crimes and induces plea bargains

 2) Adversarial model of justice - cases are viewed as serious and routinely overcharged (usually lead to trail)

 3) Courthouse insurgents - prosecutors who are dissatisfied with the status quo and battle to change it

 4) Horizontal prosecution – same prosecutor is assigned a case from intake to appeal

 5) Office conservator - prosecutors who accept the status quo and focus on continuity

 6) Officer of the court - individuals obliged to follow court rules and be fair in the search for justice

 7) Policy reformers - prosecutors who are dissatisfied with the status quo, but act cautiously

 8) Vertical prosecution - prosecutors are assigned according to court functions
